2012, is the world coming to an end? Really? I don't believe Doom's Day is the gist of what matters. I saw a message on someone's FB, part of which reads,
"Remember you will die one day". Six simple words that synergised to a strong sentence, so brunt that I thought it is a wake up call. The whole world knows humans die. But the whole world hardly notices it, until it is almost too late.
I hope it is not too late for me, age is somehow catching up fast for most friends and elderly, my father and mother.
I have absolutely no idea what my resolution is. Due to the holidays and happenings, I haven't gave it much of a thought. Maybe subconsciously, I refuse to push myself to commit. Life is already this hectic. Perhaps, I should find a resolution that eases all pain, as and when necessary.
The start of 2012 isn't too bad. Apart from meeting good friends, I welcomed the year with loss of 2 wisdom teeth, sore throat, headache, cough and a runny nose all happening together. I am so pleased with the pain killers I received for my gums, which eased the ailments in the head and throat too.
I must promise to be glad that I am alive, so are those who are healthy and friends who are battling with death or death of their dear ones. May all of us lead a good year, one that reaps much fulfillment, contentment, joy, blissfulness, freedom and many more. Importantly, breathe like there is no tomorrow.
